Pi-Vi Assessment Tool-Piping Vibration Analysis
This tool has been developed based on practical approaches being used for piping vibration analysis in the world. This computer program is a practical tool for those mechanical engineers who are not familiar with vibration effects in piping. This computer program can solve about 50 percent of vibration problems in pipework. The Flow Induced Turbulence, Mechanical Excitation, Pulsation Analyses, Acoustic Induced Vibration, Momentum Changes due to Valves Operation, Small Bore Connection Effects, and Thermowell Effects on piping lines will be analyzed and assessed. Furthermore, this training course will cover common causes of piping vibration, current screening, and assessment methods as well as their uses and limitations.
